SCIPPER campaign in Marseille in July 2020
The Laboratory of Environmental Chemistry (LCE) of Aix-Marseille Université and AtmoSud conducted measurements of shipping emissions in La Joliette, Marseille harbour, between 3 and 17 of July 2020 in the framework of SCIPPER project. The Massalya platform (owned by LCE) is equipped with on-line monitor for gaseous pollutants and high-end instrumentation for volatile organic compounds. Based on gaseous pollutants and particulate matter measurements, SCIPPER consortium will be able to characterise fresh ship plumes and its interaction with local background pollution levels.
